How to make the LFA Website your Home Page

Support the LFA by making our website your starting page when you log on to the Internet.

Follow the instructions below to make www.lfawebsite.org your home page.

Click on the name that matches your browser software:

• Netscape 4.7 and 4.0
• AOL
• Internet Explorer 5.0 and later
  

Make lfawebsite.org Your Homepage with Netscape 4.0 and later.

1. From the top menu of Netscape Navigator, select "Edit";
2. From the Edit drop down menu, select "Preferences";
   
   
   
   
3. In the "Category" panel, select "Navigator";
4. In the Home page area, type http://www.lfawebsite.org/
   
   
   
   
5. Click the "OK" button.
   
   

Make lfawebsite.org Your Homepage with America Online (AOL)

1. Make sure you are on our front page, www.lfawebsite.org.
2. Click the link below with your right mouse button and select "Copy URL to Clipboard" or "Copy Shortcut."

   * If the "copy" option didn't appear, highlight the following address: http://www.lfawebsite.org/. Go to the "Members" drop down menu and select "Preferences".

3. Click on the "WWW" icon.

4. Click on the "Home Page" box at the bottom of the pop-up window and then press your "Control" and "V" keys (at the same time) and paste in the address. If the address does not appear in the box, simply type in what you tried to paste from above.

5. Click the "OK" button.
   
   

Make lfawebsite.org Your Homepage with Internet Explorer.

When you clicked the "Make this my homepage" button, you should have seen a dialog box like this:

Simply clicking the Yes choice will set the LFA site as your home page.

If you did not get that dialog box, follow these instructions to set the LFA site as your Internet start page.

1. From the top menu of Internet Explorer, select "Tools";
2. From the Tools drop down menu, select "Internet Options";
   
   
   
   
3. Select the "General" tab;
4. In the Home page area, type http://www.lfawebsite.org/
   
   
   
   
5. Click the "OK" button.
